Devlog 4: Production week 2


Rejoice, for you are reading our 4th weekly devlog! After the first warm-up week of production things have properly kicked into gear and the team has been working hard to get as much done as possible. Please have a look at what we made this week:

Programming
Enemies:
Added basic versions of the wolf and archer enemy.
The wolf has a melee bite attack and a long range leap attack.
The archer has a basic long arrow attack  and a spreadshot when the player tries to come too close.
All enemies work properly when applied cc on (when standing on ice or applying knockback).

Player:
Added player model into the game with some basic animations for walking, rolling, shooting, ... These are still placeholder animations, more is yet to come...


Spawnsystem:
Added an improved spawn system that lets us better decide where to spawn enemies, as well as give the spawning a visual indication.

3D 
Our Grumpy Viking received a set of basic animations that are implemented in-game as showcased in the dev gif. His texture set has been completed as well, which almost marks the full completion of our first character.

 The enemies will soon be able to trade their capsule for a proper model:



Various props have been finalized to use in the environment and are ready to be implemented into unity.
