Devlog 8: Final week of production sprint 2


Intro

We have come a long way, and production has come to an end. We have some polishing work left, but all of our features are included in the latest build. Have a look at what happened this week.

Art

Characters 

We finally got around to every single character and gave them animations! Now you can almost see them in full glory, moving across your screen. 

Finishing up

Some of the work we still had left was a bit of texturing and a bit of modelling. Here you can see an overview screenshot of what has been done.


Shadows

Characters did not cast shadows up until today, one copy-paste later this issue has been solved.

Sound

This week we also spent time gathering sound and music for the game. They're ready for implementation next time around, so hold onto your seats! It's about to become a whole lot more fun!

Programming

Game loop

The new game loop has fully been implemented. 

Boss

Hodur has now 4 different abilities. He has a AOE yeell that pushes the player away. An AOE pull that sucks in the player. A rain off arrows that spwans on random locations around the player and also 1 big arrow that he fires at the player.

Weapon selection screen

The weapon selection screen has also been added now the player can choose in which order he can use the weapons.
